Blane Valley Players

The Blane Valley Players have been putting on pantos to packed houses at the Edmonstone Hall for over 10 years and have been well supported by all age groups in the village.
Traditionally the panto has featured a large number of children from P6 upwards and the local childrens' dance group and a hard core of amateur but well-meaning adults!
Less well known are the other performances, sometimes away from the village in Mugdock Country Park, for example, and featuring a mix of short, slightly more serious plays and cabaret acts. New talent is desperately needed, especially adult actors who can sing better than the present Chairman of the Community Council, which would not be difficult!

Keep your eyes open for notices about the next event, probably a pre-Christmas play, which will have auditions in late summer. Notices should go into the local paper.
The panto is now being passed on to the P7 children at the Primary School, who have had 2 years of astounding success so far and we hope will retain the tradition in the village.
